Blind Children’s Center, is one of Lions sponsored organizations. We would like to invite neighboring clubs and good hearted friends for a join contribution to the center in Los Angeles.
The following is a short description from Midge Horton, Executive Director of Blind Children’s Center.
"Blind Children’s Center serves infants (youngest
was 3 days old)
We are embarking on a Capital
Campaign to expand our program |
 |
|
|
as public
schools are struggling with budgets and trained professionals. Parents
are coming to us saying that their children are not getting services
they are promised.
The Center does not charge families and we receive no state or federal
funding. It is through the generosity of friends, such as you, that we
are able to continue to provide this essential training for these very
special children". |
